"I used to love Aircoach"
I used to love Aircoach. The drivers were always friendly and helpful. Happy enough to put own bag/s on to save their backs. However a nightmare the last six weeks. Aircoach would not give me a full refund Despite me purchasing a flexible ticket and despite me trying to cancel/postpone the day before. They have no interest in helping me get the full refund. It's upsetting and such a waste of time and money. Seemingly the terms and conditions said no cash refund but I couldn't even change the date on the website Hence I had sent them an email. I also sent an email Friday afternoon which wasn't replied to until after the weekend.

"Booked a seat"
Booked a seat, then when I tried to get on the bus, they had sold it to someone else. Their excuse was they sell your seat unless you're there 15 minutes before the bus leaves. How? The bus isn't at the stop until a few minute before it leaves. Left me stranded at the airport for 2 hours until their next bus.

"This probably the last time I will use…"
This probably the last time I will use aircoach service to Shankill (Greystones service). It took 1.5 Hours to reach Shankill as it goes all along the quays and some parts of city center. The old route was much better and quicker. I think they put profit over customer satisfaction. The service is only every 2 hours, so if you miss a bus then there is a 2 hours wait. So if you do the math its 3.5 hours to get to shankill from the airport. There is no service at night while the airport works 24 X 7. My friend took the Dublin bus express from the airport to Pearse Station and then took the Dart and took less than an hour and was much cheaper.

"Toilet locked on galway service"
Toilet locked on galway service. Told it was not working. Driver said he would stop, didnt. Then opened the supposed broken toilet for us...
Filthy, wee everywhere, no sanitizer..... Worst service

"Profit before People"
I emailed aircoach on behalf of my elderly mother who got lost at the airport and missed her flight. I explained that by the time I realised her issue I tried to ring customer service who kept me on holin place #2 for over 30mins. I then emailed to request they consider her predicament and reissue her ticket for when she would return. The response was

“ Thanks for contacting Aircoach.
I am afraid now that the time has passed we cannot change it now. She will need to purchase a new ticket.”

I have rebooked with go bus who accept her bus pass. She had been using Aircoach out of misplaced loyalty. Nice customer care and loyalty rewards! Hope your own elderly parents don’t end up in the same situation with a similar lack of compassion shown!

"Won't use again"
Just so you know how the buses operate. I arrived at the bus stop 5 minutes prior to the departure time just to see the bus departing without me ahead of the scheduled time. Below is the response from the company. No apologies, no refunds.

"In the Aircoach terms and conditions, that you agreed to when you purchased your ticket, you must be at the stop at least ten minutes prior to departure. After this you are marked as late and the driver can sell on your seats. If the coach is full the drivers are permitted to leave early."

Took Uber instead, and won't bother with Aircoach again. Waste of money.

"Rude aggressive bus driver"
Rude aggressive bus driver. Plane landed earlier than expected, politely asked the driver if my wife and I could get an earlier bus, he shook his head. I asked, even if we wait and the bus isn't full? He basically screamed at me, "FULL!!", caught a lot of spit as well.
An absolutely disgusting person.

"Aircoach unfairness"
I booked return ticket online thinking it was the Airporter I had never heard of aircoach. So was confused I never received confirmation email. I then got on bus and had to pay again as I wasn't aware I had email from aircoach. Fair dos I made a mistake but evidence is there that I paid twice yet I got refused refund. So I will never use service again and I will make everyone I know that fairness and customer satisfaction is not top of this companies agenda.

"Aggressive and dangerous driver"
Aggressive and dangerous driver making up his own rules.

I used the service often, numerous times a month, pre and post covid, but on the chance I encounter the same driver again I cannot risk using the service.

Detailed complaint sent over a month ago, no reply received.

"It's great when they do the right thing."
Following a poor experience where a coach did not arrive I posted a one star review.

After a couple of email exchanges regarding the issue, I have received a goodwill refund from Air Coach.

I am always happy when a company turns around a customer service experience. They deserve praise for that. It's a tough trading environment and sometimes the ball is dropped. If they are wise enough and aware enough to apologise they are on the right track. Thank you Gary at Air Coach.

"Bus company behaving like an airline"
We had an unforeseen change of plan and they refused to allow us to change the date on a bus journey we had paid for in advance. Said we should have paid for their flexibook option (which we hadn’t noticed or expected to see when booking a bus transfer rather than a flight!) They are profiting from using an airline booking model for bus transfers. Zero concern for the convenience of their customers. Needless to say they kept our money for a transfer they knew we would never catch. Better to pay as you board one of their buses if you have to use one.

"Be there before the time table, its a coach not an airplane- its trafic"
On time, actually more that that, you have to be 10 min earlier from thae schedule time, its been told in the booking, when you get your ticket or when you visit the web site, its not an airplane! Its a bus going with the traffic! Drivers as i saw they are doing the best but its a speed limit in town! I Saw drivers waiting or grabbing customer's after the stop because tbey were late, everyone was late but they stop and take them ln bord!
You're going 2 hours before the Airplane, couldn't you do 10 min earlier for the coach?

"Basically stole my money."
I had booked a bus ticket with the Aircoach to pick me up at Dublin Airport after landing in from London. I booked ahead of time but unfortunately couldn't make my flight. Because Aircoach's customer service number was past their open hours I emailed them and attached my receipt to cancel the ticket for a refund. Called them today after they didn't get back to me via email. They just said they don't do refunds. This is a very expensive ticket. So, I didn't use their bus service and contacted them well ahead of time but they still keep my money? The adjectives I have for this company wouldn't be acceptable on this website.
